I have a story to tell with my unique brand of art centered around an image of a skylight, as you would think of a roof window. A vessel of light, both projecting and receiving. A visual passage – a portal of dimensions / perspectives both visually and metaphorically.

This concept came to me during my time assisting painter Ruth Kligman in her NYC / Chelsea studio, in 1989. Renting a small space that had the actual skylight that came into my art mind and practice. Looking  through the structure was my portal to the sky (home). Having an interest in architecture and an arts degree – the “skylight”  was a perfect match for a creative motif  to inspire the vision ,  and an inspiration for discovering my art.

I also have extensive experience in museum/ gallery exhibition preparation.  I love to work with people / groups to  co- produce projects within the community that take a creative , problem solving perspective to develop positive  conversations between all people,  and help develop projects that  richen our lives / world.

I also work with  community non -profit art organizations / schools / resident group housing  helping with fund raisers,  art education / practice , outreach, and exhibitions.

I create independent projects which allow me to offer my art to a variety of public and private settings, and offer private and group workshops on various art related techniques and processes.
